My goals for junior year are to prepare for the SAT and feel confident when taking it, also to have more opportunities to go on field trips with both my class and advisory. I also hope to feel comfortable and have a good relationship with my teachers. I have experienced two very memorable things in junior year so far. One was switching advisors, coming from a teacher I I expected to have all 4 years with to Rah-Ben who I was going to have to spend the second half of my high school career with. The second most memorable moment was getting on stage to read my The Power Within personal narrative because it was a really big defining moment for me, being able to get up on stage and talk for ten minutes about something important to me. As a person I feel like I've grown in knowing myself and what I need to be successful. I've gotten better at not just sitting there and feeling stressed but actually being proactive and doing something about it to help me feel less stressed. Overall I feel like I may have finally started to find the balance needed in my life to get my work done without being a complete ball of stress.
